BIOS Updates forum

Hi,

after an update of my Samsung P35 notebook BIOS, my display is dead.
It's a Phoenix BIOS.

I used the floppy update (http://www.samsungpc.com/gb/support/p35 ... s/04rk.zip).

Is there any "crisis recovery disk" to get the bios back?

Find out whether you have a mini Clear CMOS jumper or DIP switch.

I think there are neither CMOS jumper nor DIP switch.

Is there not a software "backdoor" like on HP laptops (http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/foru ... dId=974719)?

Is it just the display dead or the whole laptop?

If laptop is still alive, then try to install the original bios back.
