Bootable CD rom for tp600x

I have this TP600x 4EU (500 mhz,128 meg Ram) I am trying to get running again.
I have been googling and reading until I am blue in the face. I would like to run the PC Doctor, or update the Bios but the only floppy I have is the one that connects to this bloody non-working maching.
Does anyone know how I can get the bios and or pd doc on a CD. At the IBM site i only found a 600x version for floppy. All the CD ones I found do not support 600x
I also got this message just after it tries to boot and before it gives me the ibm thinkpad logo screen.

the registry cannot load the hive <file>r its log or alternate.
It is corrupt, absent, or not writable.
