bios gone

im working on a IBM Thinkpad R40. The bios is gone so nothing will post. Is there anything at all that I can do? Paperweight?

I don't think that you can use the Phoenix BIOS parallel port BIOS recovery plug here.....
FlashBIOS offer a programming service, at a price.

the price is a lot better than IBMs 350 dollar price. thanks again.
