Flashed my bios and now my computer won't boot

Hi, I own a Toshiba M400. I was trying to update my DMI strings such that I could use my recovery disks and no longer get the "WRONG MACHINE" screen. In the process, I accidentally flashed my bios from v3.10 to v1.4 and now my computer won't even boot. I can't even click to open the CD drive.

What do I do?

Thanks in advance.

Hmm... did bios flash go ok? Is v1.4 bios meant for the same laptop? If yes to both, there might be some life in your laptop left.

You could try if it allows bios flash from a floppy.

If bios flash failed or totally wrong bios, than looking for a new motherboard or selling the parts and buy a new piece are options to consider.
