Hello,

I'd like to modify DSDT and rebuild the BIOS with this modified DSDT in it. Could anyone help me with this issue?
My laptop is using Phoenix BIOS and I've got the corrected DSDT. The part I need help with is combining those two together.

Thanks in advance,
Mik

yes, I also need to have a corrected DSDT table injected into my BIOS! I have a Toshiba P100-102 with erroneous entries in the DSDT, and Toshiba refuses to fix this because they only want to support Windows .. :?

The latest BIOS (with the faulty DSDT) you can find here. Mentorek has also posted a link to the corrected DSDT table in his posting below this posting of mine.

I've done some investigation. Using Phoenix BIOS Editor (2.0-2.2) I've tried to modify DSDT table but with no effect. (Error during building BIOS image).
Today I've managed to get my DSDT table almost compiled using MS ASL Compiler 3.0 but I've got an error that I cannot get rid of. This is what I get:

Code: Select all

Copyright (c) 1996,2006 Microsoft Corporation
Compliant with the ACPI 3.0a Specification

ACPI0.ASL:

   12: External (\_PR_.CPU0._PPC)
                     ^***
ACPI0.ASL(12): error: parent object \_PR_.CPU0 does not exist
I've uploaded the file here (rapidshare.com)

Is there anyone who could help me making this part compiling?

Thanks in advance.

Mik
