started when trying to install Windows XP.Now losing CD drives in windows 98 when installing VIA 4in1 drivers.
tried upgrading BIOS with no effect.
any idea about what is happening?

startup up screen and when in DOS has mixed up letters and vertical lines. started when trying to install Windows XP.
