I've just started to update the BIOS for my ABIT motherboard NV7m. The BIOS updating process started (writing into the BIOS) but got hang shortly. I'm leaving my computer ON as I afraid a reboot will kill the motherboard. Can anyone advise me what to do? Thanks.

Hi, I've tried with another PSU but the same problem remains. Earlier I had also tried 2 other CPU & several SDRAM (one stick at a time) but the same problem remain. Could there be something wrong in the motherboard, and if so, what could be wrong and is there anyway to isolate/confirm that? Thanks.

Could anyone help me to identify my motherboard (486 PC) and direct me to any BIOS update? The BIOS ID is: 01/12/95-OPTI-802G-2C4UKJ11-00. I gather that the BIOS chip should be from OPTI but they do not make motherboard.
