Need Help Urgently!!!
I've just started to update the BIOS for my ABIT motherboard NV7m. The BIOS updating process started (writing into the BIOS) but got hang shortly. I'm leaving my computer ON as I afraid a reboot will kill the motherboard. Can anyone advise me what to do? Thanks.

As I do not have the equipment to measure the CPU core & RAM voltages, the next best thing to do is to flash the BIOS as suggested. I had previously used an BIOS chip from a Intel motherboard and the ABIT motherboard exhibited the same problem. Can I check whether must I use a BIOS chip from a AMD m...

Hi, I had done the followings and the problem still exist: a) replace a CMOS battery b) check that there is no 'glowing' capacitor c) bought a motherboard diagnostic card - no POST code display on the ABIT motherboard with problem but with POST code display on 2 working PCs (1 Intel and the other AM...

Hi, I've tried with another PSU but the same problem remains. Earlier I had also tried 2 other CPU & several SDRAM (one stick at a time) but the same problem remain. Could there be something wrong in the motherboard, and if so, what could be wrong and is there anyway to isolate/confirm that? Thanks.

ABIT KT7-RAID MOBO CANNOT BOOT
Hi, My AMD Duron 1GHz computer (installed with ABIT KT7-RAID MOBO) hung at several occassions over a week and finally cannot boot up (no beep, no attempt to access to floppy drive, no video). However, the CPU fan and another fan on the mobo (probably the chipset fan) continue to spin upon power-up. ...

I've tried using four matched SIMMs of 4MB each, in the four 30 pins slots available, with JP18 set to 1-2 (shorted). The refresh rate of the DRAM is 2k, which differs from my original DRAM (1k refresh) that come with the PC. I've disable memory parity check in the BIOS, even though the newly tried ...

Edwin, Thanks for the additional information. However, I still could not obtain the information I'm looking for. I've recently trying to upgrade the memory but it doesn't work. I suspect the refresh rate is the cause. Any idea how to check if J-403GT (Rev. 2) support DRAM memory of different refresh...

J-403TG Motherboard Manual
Hi,
I'm looking for a more complete manual for motherboard J-403TG (from Jetway), as the document provided under the Jetway website is rather incomplete. Do anyone has it or know how to get it? Thanks.

MOBO IDENT: 01/12/95-OPTI-802G-2C4UKJ11-00
Hi,
Could anyone help me to identify my motherboard (486 PC) and direct me to any BIOS update? The BIOS ID is: 01/12/95-OPTI-802G-2C4UKJ11-00. I gather that the BIOS chip should be from OPTI but they do not make motherboard.
