Hi,

Please help me identify my moboard....here are the details.

Program: Unicore BIOS Agent Version 1.9
BIOS Date: 05/22/02
BIOS Type: Phoenix-Award BIOS v6.00PG
BIOS ID: 05/22/2002-i845G/GL-PC87-6A69VPRMC
BIOS Eval: BIOS-N-2M (2K020522A)
Chipset: Intel 2560 rev 1
Superio: NSC 366 rev 10 found at port 2Eh

Where can I get the bios update? Also, do I really need a bios update to run a 160gb hdd??

Thanks

It's a PcPartner board but it could have been sold by many other manufacturers. What brand/model is the system?

Thanks for reply. Well..its Millennium Technology moboard, as mentioned on the users manual.

Please do reply my other question, as I need to put a new 160gb hdd, and somebody told me older bios will not support that big capacity!!

Thanks again

your current bios will support those drives. no need to flash a more recent bios if everything works fine.

I was quite apprehensive about my bios, thanks to you, now I can put a new hard drive without any more worries.
