Thank you. I have always updated my other drivers but i came to know of BIOS updates only by your site.

This is my BIOS information.
It is a mercury motherboard.

Chipset: VIA 82C3148 rev 0

On visiting the mercury site support

there is a listed updated bios 040831S.ROM
It says for PCB v 7.3 .
I do not know what my Pcb version is can you help me.

Is there any other update for my BIOS as I see even this is almost 2 years old.

Open case and check the top surface of your board for a version number, it's printed on there somewhere.

I have been browsing their site in the mean time and there is no other revision of this board than the 7.3 so you should be able to use that bios. That bios is the last one released. Manufacturers eventually stop releasing new bioses because no more bugs need to be fixed.

Probably a Pcchips M925 ALU clone

http://www.pcchips.com.tw/PCCWeb/Produc ... 16&LanID=0

Revisions older than 7.x had two SDR and two DDR memory slots, all later revisions had only two DDR memory slots.

I think I see a typo or copy/paste mishap there, the second link is your board in that posting. However, yes, use the 7.3 version.
