Hello there bios land

a dual P3 Mboard with 3 long PCIs and 5 regular 4 slots 168 pin 100/133 it has 2 scsi ports and is difficult about disks I boots up with the Gateway logo but they are no help at all, they ask for a sticker number that is not there

Problem is the HDDs are not recognized I think it may be a scsi problem but need to find the maker to find the utility to boot up to find the maker ,. . . . . . . . you all know that song!

The bios number is
63-0100-006482-001011111-042601-amibios-0AAWGP20-Y2KC-0

grateful for any help or just a clue

Tyan, MiTAC or MSI board. Are they not any markings in white ink ANYWHERE on the board that might be the type number? Gateway was asking for a sticker, is there anything on there? Something with a barcode and numbers? Anything? If needed be, can you email a photo of the board?

Thanks to the clever postings

We have a Gateway 6400 Server MB in a Supermicros box??

I do not know why!

now perhaps gateway will help, I looked at drivers page none listed for XP so tried a clean boot and XP works Video shows up as Yellow in device manager but everything else is fine

so which OEM is the MB and can I flash it to generic not Gateway??

Because the original Gateway box got damaged, because the scrapped serverboard was found cheap somewhere... we don't know.

Drivers:
http://support.gateway.com/support/driv ... am=4000631
You can try the windows2000 driver for the ATi Rage XL onboard video.
