I got an email the same day , today , from Chaintech Support with a .BIN file attached . I'm told it's the latest 7AIA0 bios .
And if anyone is interested it name is: 7aia0813.BIN .

I used the email address on the Chaintech website Support page .

Hi, I'm trying to find out if there is a BIOS update for the Chaintech
7AIA0 motherboard that will allow me to access a hard drive > 137GB
with Win98SE. I emailed Chaintech support and they emailed me back a .rar archive that contained the BIO User manual and the Award Flash utility, and a comment saying that if I updated the BIOS it would support 250GB. But no mention of which BIOS update to use.
So, I've looked everywhere, but I cannot find any BIOS update where the release notes mention large hard drive support. I've looked on the Chaintech website and their archive site, etc...
In fact, the latest update that I can find states it's not compatible with the -F10AC BIOS, and my BIOS chip is labelled -F10C. So I'm hesitant to
flash that update.
I've tried to get more info out of Chain tech support, but they
won't respond... so I'm hoping someone can answer these questions:

1) Is there a BIOS update for the 7AIA0 motherboard that would support
a 160GB HD under Win98SE. or is this not even possible using Win98SE ?

2) Are the BIOS updates for this motherboard that say "Except 7AIA0-
D10AC/E10AC/F10AC/G10AC/H10AC" (see link below) compatible
for upgrading a BIOS device labelled "7AIA0-F10C" ?

http://web.archive.org/web/200410091814 ... OSUPD8.htm

3) Is the 7AIA BIOS update "0813" I read about earlier in this thread
available for download on the web, and will it support a 160GB HGD using Win98SE ?

For the record, the reason I'm interested in 160GB HD support for Win98SE with the 7AIA MB is I have an Ghost image containing some important application software that I need to use, and this application is no longer compatible with any other O/S, and it's license is tied to the hard drive it was originally installed on. Since it's not possible to find a hard drive locally that's smaller than 160GB... and I have a 7AIA MB...
Thanks in advance for any information that would help.
