Hi,
Can someone please help me identify this board as I would like to find out the specs. The only markings on the board that I can see are:

PWA-ELISE-SWAP BD
PCB 316701200001-R01
ASSY.411701200001 R

The only other info I can get is after hitting F10 at start up which is:
Product Name: Compaq PC
Processor Type: Pentium 3
Processor Speed: 800/133Mhz
Memory Size: 128Meg
System Rom Date: 06.02.00
System Rom Family: 686S6

Any help would be appreciated.

Google search turns up an IBM test lab reference to Compaq Presario 7E13 'Elise'. Compaq support doesn't mention 7E13 specifically, and the Documentation they have on "7EL" is scant. Try looking at ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/supportinforma ... ev2_us.pdf.

Another Google search suggests that Presario 7EL includes Presario 7000T. Does any of these numbers ring a bell ?

Thanks for your reply NickS.

None of them numbers ring a bell as I know nothing about Compaq Computers. I bought the system from a computer fair. It has been built from different components in a standard case so I have no idea if the board came out of a Presario.

I'm trying to find one. Can you find a part number similar to 170390-102 on the board surface somewhere?

Hi,
On one of the PCI Slots there is a sticker on it with the following details.

Replace with Compaq Spare
SPS-BD SYS W/1394;ELISE-2
Spare:207611-001 : Part No:187221-101

Thanks

Listed as being in the 7EL147 (Canada) model. The MSG for that one refers to

ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/supportinforma ... 7AP-EP.pdf

Which is pretty useless where it comes to the actual locations of the connectors etc. More than that, this is one of them dr**ded boards with an integrated front panel thingy. Unless you have the matching case it is not going to be easy to retrieve the connections...

Hi,
Thank you for finding out for me which system my board came out of.
I am not sure what you mean by an intergrated front panel thingy as this board is in a standard ATX case.

Regards

The original Compaq case has got an LCD front panel thingy, you connect it with one connector block of which the pin designation is not yet known.
