I guess that the FSB and memory run at the same frequency.
BTW.: I'm using Cyrix MII PR300 (3x75MHz) on PCPartner TXB820DS board (i430TX) with four 32MB 60ns SIMM modules (memory timings set to fastest )

I would wonder then why this isn't mentioned in the manual.
The board currently is running a i200MMX, but I have my old Cyrix MII 433 laying around that I was thinking of installing in it. I could get my friend Jan to patch in the 4x multiplier, and run the thing at 83MHzx4 for 333.2MHz (yes, a slight OC...base is 100MHzx3). If not, 83MHzx3.5 (291.3MHz) would still be fine.
75MHz does exist on the board, but it will cut the PCI bus speed to 30MHz if I use that. The 83MHz setting will keep the bus at the standard 33MHz.
I just wonder what would happen if I try to run the SIMMS at that speed...anyone ever try?

Try it - it might work with some slower timings.
