Hi all, I'm new here, doing my first post.
Recently I bought a Dell Dimension 9100 and have been regretting it ever since, mostly because it has been very hard for me to do things like re-install windows, etc.

Anyway, after re-installing windows I found I was missing some drivers, so rather than request the driver CD from Dell (which I am going to do now) I thought I'd just download drivers for my motherboard, however I don't know what kind of motherboard I have. I know it's a BTX board, the Pentium is a 630, running at 3.02ghz (I think, I'm not at it now). I believe the chipset is an Intel 945P also, but I am not sure.

Before I completely hosed my computer, I tried running AMIDiag's motherboard identifier, which told me the maker of the motherboard was Dell, which can't be right, since Dell doesnt make motherboards as far as I know.

Can anyone else out there help me figure out the motherboard for this computer from what I have told you? If not, what other information do you need, and how should I try and get it?

Each and every Dell comes with a recovery CD. Use that.
