So, I got a new HD with a 250 gig capacity, My computer only see's it as having 137 gigs...so I looked that up and learned about the 137 gig barrier and that is has something to do with an old addressing of 24 bits and a new addressing of 48 bits and that I needed to update my bios.
Okay, so here lies the problem. I have no clue what kind of bios I have the information I got on the system start up is this;
4w4sb0x0.15a.0018.p13
So....if anyone happens to know what kind of bios im running or a resouce that would help me figure it out, it would be very appreciated.

Looks like a Gateway OEM version of an Intel motherboard. LAtest update seems to be P14 and you have P13. It does not lok like the Bios will natively support HDD bigger than 128/137GB. Newer OS like Linux, W2K/XP should be able to fully adress HDD space abiove Bios limits, see www.48bitlba.com
