I have a client with a motherboard with the BIOS string 2A69KPWBC-OO.
This ID code PW does not appear to be listed on the AWARD BIOS NUMBERS page ie PW is not there. This client would like to install a large capacity H.D.D. but without a flash utility this is not possible. Can anyone help?

The vendor is Protac, according to a Google search on "2A69KPWBC". However, this turns up multiple possibilities:
? i440ZX-2A69KPWBC

or (highest probability)

MX320/322 - 03/15/1999-i440ZX-W977EF-2A69KPWBC-00

If it's MX320/322 then it's already been patched - see http://wims.rainbow-software.org

This seems to be VERY weird board. Do you have a photo/scan or another picture?

MX320S is the name. Chaintech has bought Protac and killed off the motherboard section instantly... Rumour has it this is a M761ZX
