Hi,

i got an old s&d boar with following bios Id string:

08/11/97-i430TX-2A59iswcc-00

The Company S&D no longer exits, maxbe someone know the a comparible bios to update my board....

Well, all I have is a beta BIOS for that board:
03/20/98-i430TX-2A59ISWCC-00
(2a59iswc) EVALUATION ROM

Note: this BIOS still has the 32GB HDD limitation, but is recent enough to be patched to support large HDDs (upto 128GB)

flash(With Awdflash 8.22a) runs good....
system boot stable(win98se), but i have still the usb controller problem(Via VT83C572/VT82C586). I installed all SP´s and latest usb filter patch...

maybe u have an idea??

WTF? A VIA USB problem on an Intel board??? Are you using a PCI USB card? What about the onboard USB?

Now the system runs perfect!. I installed win 2000 and now there is a good usb support. think win 98se is not very stable in this matter

Win98Se runs fine with USB1.1 and USB2.0 if you are using drivers for the motherboard chipset or USB-chipset you are running
