Could not get into the ATrend site to see if they have anything on it.

Thanks soupy and edwin...
Yes...had to go to edwin's site as the other was done already for the month
The jumpers were correct, and it booted, so my friend now has a spare computer to do with as he pleases. He found it in the trash. It has 32MB RAM, 500MB Maxtor HD, Floppy, 256K cache, Trident TGUI9440-1 Video card, Crystal A-PRO (CX4236B) Sound card, AMD Am5x86-P75, AMD-X5-133ADZ, 3.45V CPU, and Win95 (original).
BIOS ID is (top) ATC-1425B SIS496/7 BIOS VER:2.31W 04-18-96
BIOS ID is (bottom) 4/18/96-SiS-496-497/A/B-2A4IBA2BC-00
Not bad for free...just needs to put in a CD and...???

Looks like it had a 3Com NIC card at one time, but not now...can't say it had a modem either, but I'm sure something can be found around here
The manual does miss a few jumpers, and strangely does not mention the 3 PCI slots that it has...
Any idea what a SiS496/7 can support memory/bus speed/PIO modes etc...???

It's the only info that is left of it...
DRAM Controller
- Supports 8 Banks Non-Interleaved Access for Single and Double Sided SIMMs up to 255
MBytes.
- Supports 256K/512K/1M/2M/4M/8M/16M/32M xN Fast Page Mode and EDO DRAM.
So, in theory, you should be able to put 8 32MB 30-pin SIMMs in there. IF you can find them and IF you can afford them...
