any chance of posting the bios string?
otherwise i'd suggest: pcpartner, ecs or pcchips (and derivates)

looks like a P4 with intel i845 chipset.
If you email me include [WIMSBIOS] in the subject.

If this board does not work you may want to connect the auxillary power connector of your PSU with your board, see the square 4-pin connector just above your CPU-cooler.

Is this board off a branded system or bought retail ?

Hmm, the Rev.A style may point to a DFI motherboard.

the only ones that are labeld on the mother board are

As I said, the 4-pin auxillary power connector is not fitted. At least this would be one reason why it won't start.

This board should definetely be a DFI board, I found images with a very similar layout in one of the NB7x boards
This one is pretty close:

Check out the label on the purple printer port connector (if it is in fact a DFI board), it should have the model number on it.

yes that was the motherboard
when i plugged it all in and turned it on there was no video
so i turned it off and moved the video card
but now nothing wants to turn on so i am not sure if the motherboard is dead or what
