On my asus P2B Atmel 29C010/020 are not recognized .
Maybe a problem with Asus Bios ?
I was not able to test with a Board that has AMI or regular Award Bios - will report soon .
In the next days i'll send you some flashroms I promised to do for further testing including Atmel 29C010/020 and Winbond 49F002U.

There was a timing problem with detecting AT29C0x0 - I added a delay there and tested with AT29C020 on MSI MS-5120 board...

When i run the uniflash on the ECS mobo with the sis630 chipset... i can't save the bios in the memory to a image file in the floppy (writing error) or flash the bios from an image file in the floppy disk (reading error)... but it's working (just to save the bios) if i use the uniflash 1.26 with the force option...
Great that firmware hubs work!
I will try to find the floppy problem - maybe the Super I/O got somehow confused by UniFlash...

I seem to have the same problem.kclim528 wrote:On my ECS socket 370 mobo with sis630 chipset... i can't read/write on the floppy disk... with the uniflash 1.27...
Rainbow, I sent you an e-mail earlier today regarding the same thing. I'm using an ECS K7S5A board with the SIS735 + IT8705F chipset, trying to flash to an STM M29F040(B). When I try to flash, I get an error saying "Cannot read from file <my bin file> !" After this, when I try to exit, it cannot find the floppy drive anymore, and no longer recognizes the existence of a floppy drive (Abort, Retry, Fail).
I tried the same FlashROM on another motherboard I have that uses (unfortunately) the SIS5597/5598/5581/5120 chipset. I get farther when using this board, but not completely successful. It gets to the status bar and says "Flashing in progress" but hangs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
