I have several hundred PCs to flash and am looking for a way to code a BIOS ROM so that I can flash all of the stations with my own preset CMOS defaults so that I do not have to config each one of them individually.

I have most of the tools I need, but I don't know how to edit the modules once I get into the ROM file. Details to follow:

ROM: AMIBIOS8 ASROCK mod (1.30)
MB: ASROCK P4VM800

I'm aware that ASROCK does some playing around with the checksums, and would like some guidance as to how to fool the board to allow a modded BIOS ROM to be installed and run.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi.

The area of the BIOS data and the area of the CMOS data are totally different.

If you want to have the same BIOS settings on many same mainboards,
then you either can change the BIOS file and its default Setup Menu values or
you define the settings in one BIOS setup menu and dump the CMOS area.

After dumping the CMOS area to a file, you can use the file and restore the data to all other mainboards that are the same type.

If you want to do method one (custom and predefine BIOS Setup Menu values in the BIOS file) then just get in contact with me.
