Hello all,
I've got a problem. My comp won't post. In fact it won't do anything. It powers up and then nothing. I'm thinking I need to clear my cmos but am a little unsure as to the proceedure. Should I power off and then switch the jumpers then power up and back down? At what point do I switch the jumpers back? Could a dead battery cause the bios to get messes up and not revert to the default cmos? Help me please. It's a dtk prm-92v Mother board. should I remove the bios chip. What should I do? any suggestions are appriciated.

Did you just get the system? Did it ever work? What did you do last before this happened?

There are some systems which will not show any signs of life if the battery is dead.
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.
