Greetings all,
I Bricked my mother board last week , bios update hung up during install. So I got a replacement bios chip installed . But I enter the wrong service tag number in the bios start up screen on first boots up and can not get back in to correct it . The computer is work , I am typing on it right now.
Question is there a utility program that will allow me to correct the wrong service tag number in the bios or is there a work around ? I really don't want to unsolder and replace the Bios chip again if I can fix it though the key board.
It's a dell 9000 435t , a16 , American Megatrends inc V2.62
Thank you and God Speed, Fred
