Hello, hope somebody can help.

I have got a new hard drive with 120 GB, but my PC hang, when starte, so I tried to make an update, with the BIOS from the biostar Homepage, but this changed nothing.
I also tried the patch from http://wims.rainbow-software.org/, but after this my PC hang and dont find my 2 CD ROMs. After installing VBE0226B it works again.

Need something other.

Did you clear CMOS after flashing the new BIOS ?

Hang on, we don't have a BIOS for the M6VBE with 692 Northbridge on the site. I'll look for the BIOS.

use a download manager, that server can be dead-slotw at times, IE will tell you it got the file when in reality it only got part of it...

And please make sure you really have the M6VBE with the 82C692 chipset (one of the two big VIA-chips in the center of the board) and nothing other like 693/693A!
