Hmmm, it didn't work.
AWDFLASH says "The program file's part number does not match with your system"
Flashing it anyways shows the following errors:
When I select "STANDARD CMOS SETUP" in the Bios it freezes showing only the lines Primary Master and Primary Slave.
"IDE HDD AUTO DETECTION" shows a red box with "Auto-Detecting Primary Master" and a "2" four lines below.
And there ist a bug which is also present in the official Bios v1.5, which causes my system to show all Drives as write-protectet (Write protect error writing drive X), with the v1.0 Bios it works fine.
Any advice?

@ajzchips: Reading through that, the 128GB patch didn't work but the 64GB did. Maybe a candidate for bp ?
I'm also not clear whether this "write protect error" is a feature of the factory 1.5 BIOS or not.

I'm not so sure, as data-bear just killed his machine with the bp version of the BioStar M5ALA BIOS.
It's worked on a number of other machines OK... how about the "write protect" error with version 1.5 ? Does anyone know what the last safe version was and where to find it ?

http://www2.driverguide.com/uploads/uploads9/25221.html has a "1.5SB" beta version slightly earlier than the "1.5SL":
OEM message: P5I430TX/T1B+ BIOS V1.5SB Feb.15,2000
BIOS ID: 02/15/2000-i430TX-NS309-2A59IQ1IC-00
Although the ID is different and will cause an error message when programming, two or three people replied saying it works fine with the T1B+. Maybe Wicked Weasel would like to see if this produces the HDD write protect error; if it does not we can look at patching it with bp.
