8O I don't believe this?
I am new to this forum. Reason is that I never had any problems with bios or related. But lately I bought a motherboard and my fear are the following conclusions;

Award bios can only support HD upto 120 GB?
To upgrade an award bios cost me 25 dollar???

Am I correct with these conclusions??
This would be so PLEASE BAN ME FOR SWEARING wrong!!!

I've read the rulez. But I thouht I asked 2 general questions for which you don't need all the technical stuff.
Right?
I'm pleased to put them up also..., but this is a bit difficult as I am at work.

The problem is that the answers highly depend on how recent your motherboard is.

Most upgrades are free.

Upgrades usually come free from the motherboard manufacturer .
Only special Bios for older motherboards will cost you something - in case of bigger HDD recognition a PCI UDMA controller is better and costs are the same as for special Bios

With Award 6.00PG there's a chance it will support HDD bigger than 128GB but this depends on motherboard manufacturer - no chance with 4.xx Bios
