40GB: 02/26/1999-i440BX-w83977-2a69KTG9C-00

I need to install my new wd 40g drive heres what I know thus far, though I don't know much about computer hardware.
I believe that my motherboard is a tekram
it has silkscreened on it p6b40-a4x rev 11.1
on the screen with the energy star logo I get:
award modular bios v4.51PG
and
trm-p6b40-a4x-v1.07
and then of course the bios number
02/26/1999-i440BX-w83977-2a69KTG9C-00
Can anyone help me?
