Cant find a pre-patched image on rainbows site.
Also, this is a cheap board with no markings anywhere as to brand.

I have the existing image from the board available.

Full ID is date-i-forget-i440bx-2a69kd4fc-00

Who can help me?

Some sort of DFI motherboard
Please confirm the exact ID string (are you sure it isn't i440BX-DD-2A69KD4FC?) including the date and also provide the message, if any, which appears under the Award logo, top left of the memory count screen.
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.
Emails *will* be ignored unless the subject line starts "Wim's BIOS forum"

And - as a DFI mainboard - it should be clearly marked with model number and revision number .
Written somewhere onto the board so please have a look !

No, I dont think it is a DFI board.
There's nothing written on the board, except the PCI and ISA slots are clearly marked.

Oops, yes it is i440bx-dd-blah. I missed that dd when I posted before. Doh!
Is there a pre-done one available? I couldnt find it.
I'm willing to give it a go even if it is for a DFI board. I'd put money on this board being a near exact copy made in an even cheaper factory somewhere and they stole a BIOS.

The date was something in 1999. I can't check the system right now cause it's at a clients place and I can't get back there until tuesday.

Definitely a DFI board

CB50-BX or CB60-BX or PB50-BX and maybe more

Please have a very close look at your mainboard
Maybe located just above the DIMM slots

Is this board Slot-1 or Socket-370 ?

It's a slot 1 board.

We looked as close as possible before. Couldnt see anything anywhere.

It's not my mobo, and is sort of about 50km (umm, 30 miles?) away at the moment.

Just looked at the DFI support stuff (which is very badly laid out).

This board is NOT a CB50-BX, CB60-BX, or PB50-BX. The CBs are sock370, and the PB is slot1, but the board I am dealing with has the slot around the other way and possibly has an additional ISA slot (cant remember, but I think it had 3).

I beleive this board is actually an imposter. It is definately a real cheap board, and it's not uncommon for the cheap boards to use pirate BIOSs taken from other manufacturers, right?

Im thinking I might have a chop at doing this mod myself. From the info I found (thanks rainbow), it actually sounds quite easy.

Maybe an OEM-Version for a system builder or for a reseller .

Please repost the Full Bios-ID including the Bios OEM message !
Please tell us how many AGP/PCI/ISA/SDRAM slots your board has !
AT or ATX Layout ?

P2XBL series and PB64-BX are other candidates
