hi ..i've a Leadtek Research Inc. WinFast 6200M motherboard with the BIOS ID as 04/24/2000-SiS-620-6200MA..C-00
i've tried looking for bios utility so that my bios may detech 40GB hdd but can not find it.
any help is welcome.

You already have the latest BIOS. It supports HDDs up to 128GB.
Patched and tested BIOSes are at http://wims.rainbow-software.org

Bios should already support up to 128GB
If your drive is detected with 32GB only please remove the 32GB capacity limitation jumper !
