Dear all;

i have Motherboard with M760V AMI Bios date 2/4/1999

My MotherBoard Id: 61-0729-001437-00101111-071595-VT691-1VLA6910

I got the Flash rom Bios No.990402S With AMIFlash336 utility
am done with the flash andl the date still the same .

I :idea: am doing the Bios update to make my motherboard recognize my 40GB HD.

please i need help

990402s.rom is the latest Bios for Rev 1.2 and Rev 1.4 M760V

Your Bios-ID should have been changed a little compared to the older Bios and a "Release 19990402S" or similar should appear just below the AMI Logo

Chances are good this Bios supports at least up to 64GB but you'll never know with Pcchips ....

In early 1998, most PCCHIPS AMIBIOSes had proper support for large HDDs. (i.e. my old TXPRO supports 80GB HDDs with the 4/1998 AMI BIOS).
