You have a MSI MS-6166ZX OEM'ed to Time Computers .
Standard MSI Bios might work or not (normally it should work) - have you tried to flash the MSI Bios or not ?
If yes did it work despite a possible HDD No-Detect ?

Deniss, Nicks,
what I ment to say, is that the system still doesn't see the drive after flashing the bios. I've indeed flashed the Bios and the system still works fine, but the 80Gb MAXTOR doesn't exist.

Thanks anyway for your reply.

Doesn't exist, meaning doesn't autodetect? Tried to configure the parameters manually?

ajzchips,

I've configured the parameters manually, but the drive still doesn't exist/autodetect.
