My old ATrend ATC-6120 Ver. 2.0 02 WB /w AWARD Modular BIOS v4.51 PG hangs up when trying to auto detect a 80GB WD HDD.

I wasn't able to find a patched BIOS on the web that awdflash accepts...

I tried that bios but awdflash tells me that "the program file's part number does not match my system".

I am a little bit surprised that a backup of my old bios is 384k while that bin file is just 128k. The only difference between those files is the OEM string: ATC-6120 VER:2.0 08 WB - mine is: ATC-6120 VER:2.0 02 WB.

Do you have any oher suggests?

Thanks in advance

Use Uniflash to backup/update your Bios. It seems your Flashprog does not work as it should do. Your Flashprog complains because the Bios-ID might have changed slightly

Uniflash patched it without problems and my 80GB HDD works fine now.
Thanks a lot.

The IDE auto detection in the bios setup still hangs up - it's not a problem for me - I just wanted to mention it.
