ive just bought an old mother board from HP, tu use with my pentium 3 at 500mhz.

but ive got a problem, is seems that the the mother board doesnt suppor large disks (Hard Drives)
and ive got an 80Gigs and other with 40Gigs.

Ive tried to format them with 20gigs partition and still theryre not recognised.

i can not test bios agent within the board beacause i dont have smaller
disks to install SO and put internet... !!

From bios i could read this: Award Software International, Inc. HW.27.08(QHW.08.03)

can it do an update so that the board could support larger disks or not?

can anyone help me??.. please.

please read the posting rules. you should at least provide the BIOS ID string that is at the bottom of the screen while the BIOS output shows up...it should look like this: "10/01/1999-i440BX-SMC602-6A69KM3JC-00". please report back with the string.

Have you put the 32GB clip jumper on the drive?

The BIOS you quote sounds like HP Brio BA600 - is that your HP system?

If so, go to the HP website and try the latest (2000) BIOS.

The 32GB jumper needs to be fitted to the HDD, not the motherboard.

Is the motherboard in an HP case? If so, can you confirm the system type?

Uniflash is very flexible; you should also be able to use Aflash.

It was well that it didn't go "Puff" during flashing!
