Hi,

Any guys can help me flashing a new SATA BIOS for captioned?

I've got a msg below when using CBROM for my M/B BIOS file :

Item Name :

Other(2820:7468)

I couldn't find the name which for the SATA BIOS. :(

My specification below :

Thank you so much in advance!!

I think the disk is SATA2 and the controller only SATA1 so you need to set the disk for SATA1 speeds before it will work. This can be done by jumper or by software depending on the make and model of the harddisk, read the manual for the harddisk or visit the manfacturer website.

SATA controllers have a size limit of a few thousand terabytes due to the new standard so that cannot be it.

Thanks! But I do already set the jumper for running in SATA 1 speed.

However, the SATA controller still can't recognize it.

Just wonder if it is possible to update the SATA BIOS even though it integrated on M/B. I could see some guys that can only update their SATA BIOS on ASUS M/B not using the official BIOS by CBROM, but I don't know the step for my Intel M/B...

After downloading the M/B BIOS file in . itk format, the CBROM cannot get accurate details, like SATA BIOS modules in it as for re-build the BIOS file, CBROM can only read the file as "System BIOS & other"...
