help ide not recognised

was previously using 6vm7-4e f3 and flashed to latest bios 6vm7-4e f22 giga byte motherboard. But now non of my ide auto detected. I dont have manula settings for my drives. Does anyone have an idear of what could be wrong. I did think it could be the boot delay time but the bios doesnt have the option to change this..???

Did you clear CMOS and load Setup Defaults?

Did you use the IDE auto-detection feature in the BIOS setup?
Flash your BIOS at your own risk.

last night I re-flashed the new bios and it all came up.
