Well i've read the manual for it and i can get rid of the imbeded ME and if i can do this i will use it as a slave

Well atm i hav a 17GB HD with windows ME inbedded onto it in a hidden partition.

If i was to replace this HD with a 40GB one would i just have to format the new one with XP ? And no problems would ocour ?

my current HD is only 17GB and i want to buy an extra 40GB.

can i simply replace the old one ? Because the older one has in-built windows ME but i use XP now ?

Would this cause any problems ?

bearing in mind i hav upto £60 to spend on a mobo

not sure about that but im not gonna get the thermal intakes as im not gonna overclock the RAM


I am however gonna overclock my AMD thats y im gettin a 3.2 cooler

btw will i be able to use my current SDRAM on the new mobo

wot do u mean by certain files cos there is an option in your windows settings that chooses wether you CD-drive auto reads CDs

hmm took a look and im starting to think it might be easier just to buy a new computer. i can only upgrade to a 1GHz processor and that kinda sux. BTW does any one know where i can buy just the tower and no monitor etc? ^^ by this i mean a tower including all the components mobo Ram Processor and so...

well after running multiple progs it has suggested that i upgrade my BIOS.

Btw will the latest BIOS enable me to use bigger processors ?

ATM the max is a 1000MHz.

If no is the answer then im just gonna buy a new mobo or new tower as i want a 2 GHz processor.
