bios won't start

i switched cd-roms and when i turned it on i got some beeps every few seconds and bios never started and no hdd activity

How many beep and how long ? > short beeps or long beeps ?
Make sure all cards and memory sticks are seated correct
Tried to Clear CMOS ?

figured out that my 64 and 128 sticks of memory went south
took those out and currently using only my 256 stick
works fine now, thanks for help
