I have a Dell Dimension 3000, model DMC. Flash went bad, ie computer was shut down before flash completed. I had a REV A02 BIOS. Do not have pins and jumper so tried to short out the shortening points/ soldering points (?) and also took out CMOS battery and waited 30 minutes. Then put it back in, turned on power, still no bios, no beeps etc (waited several minutes, also tried pushing Del, F1 and F2, but of course, keyboard is not recognized, so what's the point?) Do not have floppy drive so can't recover that way. Can't even find the bios chip or the motherboard model number so don't know if maybe it's soldered on somewhere I can't see? Loosing hope fast. Any ideas?
