Hello,

I updated the BIOS of my ASUS P2L-B Rev1.02 (PentiumII, Intel440LX) with the latest Revision 1010 Beta 004. Flashing was successful, but now I have a problem. When I turn on my Computer I get the first page on the screen, just like this:

------------------------
Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
Copyright... and so on...
ASUS P2L-B ACPI BIOS 1010 Beta 004

PentiumII 266Mhz
Memory Test: 196608

Award Plug & Play BIOS Extension v1.0A

.
.
.

Press DEL to enter setup
08/02/01-i44oLX-<P2L-B>
-------------------------

Then nothing more happens. No reaction on keyboard (DIN-Connection), does not boot, nothing...

This is what I have already tried:

- CMOS-Reset
- Disconnect all but graphic card (AGP) and Floppy-Diskdrive

What could be wrong? Thanx for your help!

Try disconnecting floppy and/or keyboard to generate an error. This might get you into cmos setup.
Flash your BIOS at your own risk.
