I get checksum error and then Detecting floppy media, then nothing. Iv tried the bootblock method...perhaps im doin it wrong but im farily certain my bootblock is messed up as well, i had an accident involving a pencil and me forgeting to unplug the board, which might be to blame.

So i have a kt133 motherboard here with the same dip chip as the hosed motherboard. But im fairly certain its msi...and my other board is nforce. both use award bios however so im considering hotswaping it. And id like to know if this can cause any damage at all to the kt133 board. Otherwisei have to wait a month to get a new bios chip.

Thanks in advance

Have you tried a freshly formatted clean DOS/DR-DOS Bootdisk with correct Bios + Flashprog ?
