Hi there,

I am having problems with my PC It will not boot-up. To try to solve the
problem I have started to use a POST PCI/ISA board made by
Eurosoft UK.

A brief specification of the PC follows. The processor is a Intel Celron P11.
The motherboard is a PC 100 which is slot 1 and M747. The BIOS is
American Megatrends version 1.1 released on 05/04/1999. The video
card is a Redition V1000-E and the soundcard is an Aztech 16 bit full
duplex. There is 64mb of ram.

When I switch on the PC there is no response from the monitor, neither is
there any sign of activiy in the hard drive. I have two system units
connected to this monitor via a switching box and the other system unit
performs perfectly.

I have run tests with the POST card using both the ISA slot and the PCI
slot. The reading from the ISA slot was 88 and the reading from the PCI
slot was 9d and 32.

I am having difficulty identfying what actual fault these numbers indicate.
If anyone has experience of this test and can give me some advice I
should be very grateful.

Thank you

Quickstart :)
