Just messing with an old PC-8900 (486 DX2-50) to see if I can get it to talk to my mobile phone.
Does anyone know how to get into the BIOS setup on this machine?
I have tried all the keys I can think of (F1, F2, Del, Ctrl-Alt-Esc, etc).
Checked with FDISK, and it does have a 1MB Non-DOS partition, so it might need an external program.
If this is the case, does anyone know where I could get it from? I looked on Sharp's main site and if it's over two years old you can forget it.
Hope someone can help,
Sean
BIOS setup for old Sharp PC-8900
Not to worry, I figured it out. "Ctrl-Alt-S" during the memory test.
Unfortunately it only has ASKIR in the setup, not HPSIR so I don't think it will work.
Unless anyone knows where I can get a BIOS update for a Sharp PC-8900 that may include HPSIR support??
Current version is 1.0E
Thanks,
Sean.
