First off, if I can't get this piece of crap working it's going to bug me to no end!
I get the BIOS error codes 163 and 173. The system itself *WILL NOT* let me even get into the BIOS. I hate it. I hate this thing so much. I cannot even boot a CD or anything. It is stuck in some primitive BIOS error loop in which I can do *NOTHING*. It shows a "cave drawing" of a circle and a line. Why? Why the hell is it showing this? To reboot? Then it does the same thing over and over again!
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Most likely, you have dead CMOS backup battery. Replace it and try again.
