bios checksum error on modified bios

I have an Epox 4pca3+ mobo with latest official bios .... but the raid module is still ver. 3.01 .... I need raid ver. 3.04 (some problems with XP install), so I've replaced the module (with cbrom). Problem is when I try to flash the modded bios, "bios checksum error" appeared and awdflash refuse to flash. so, cbrom does or does not update the bios file's checksum ?

It may all depend on the version(s) you're using.

:D thx a lot ... problem solved with cbrom32 (found on epox magic screen utility :wink: ). i've inserted the raid module with cbrom32 and worked well.
