Boot from USB with D2400 Phoenix Bios A05

Is there some way for me to boot from my usb device. I'm trying to boot from my external dvdrw drive but cannot figure it out. I can go into the bios and change the boot order that says 'hard drive...' 'usb devices..' but that does nothing. If I go into the boot options I have my hard drive and my ide cd drive thats it. Anyone?
