Error loading OS... after Bios Update on a ASUS A8AE-LE

Hi!.. I´m new on this stuff nad thought I knew everything. This is what I did:

I have a Pavilion a1350n and went to HP´s website to see if there was any driver update. I selected A8AE-LE Motherboard BIOS Update » sp35096.exe thinking that it would do good to my pc.

This is what hp says about it:

This is what I have done so far without success:

I have created a recovery disk, run chckdsk, fixboot... also I have cleared the CMOS settings by doing the jumper stuff...

The new version of BIOS that says I have installed is thr 3.15.

What else can I do? .. many thanks

You should try the 3.14 Bios, add a request in the thread linked above.

It looks like the 3.15 Bios is supposed to fix some issues but it open lots of new issues.

3.14 bios file sent. you need to flash that from a bootable DOS floppy with award flash utlity 8.6 or newer.
