how to disable or suppress BIOS logo at boot-up?

I have a Tekram S3Pro-M motherboard with an Award BIOS. At boot-up a fullscreen logo of the manufacturer of the PC (Proview) is displayed, blocking the bootup info. Is there any way to disable or suppress it?
I checked every value in the BIOS - there is no refference to a "normal" boot. I tried to disable Quick POST - no change.
Does anyone have a way around this?
