Motherboard shipped with incorrect BIOS (ver. 5.4). I confirmed this on the MSI web site. I need Award ver 7.4, however when I attempt to flash to the correct version I get the error message " File size does not match" and then the flash utility returns to the DOS prompt.
I am trying to use awfl823B flash utility.
Short of returning the board, how can I get the BIOS to the correct version?

Are you really sure you received an ILSR ?
But I wouldn't bother with trying to get the "correct Bios" on/in this Flashrom - contact your dealer and send him this board back to replace with the correct Board .
Remember : You loose your warranty if anything goes wrong in your attempt to flash the "coorect" Bios !!
