I have an amd K6II 500 processor and have been told
I can fit a larger size

It's not PC Chips board, but PC Partner. There is no faster Socket 7 CPU than K6-2/500 (maybe the K6-3/450).

K6-2/533 and 550 are a little faster but it's not worth the upgrade .
If you really want/need a speed upgrade try to fin a K6-2+ or K6-3+ with 450 to 550MHz - they have OnDie L2-Cache and are really fast !

Oh, I thought that the fastest K6-2 was the 500Denniss wrote:K6-2/533 and 550 are a little faster but it's not worth the upgrade.
