Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to flash my bios because for some odd reason I am getting a message stating "bios is disabled." My computer is no longer recognizing my optical drives. Funny thing is that this happened after returning from a 19 day vacation and computer wasn't even plugged in.
Not sure of corresponding bios upgrade

This appears to be an Abit NF7-S, compare with this image:

BIOS can be downloaded here (caution, there are versions 1.x and 2.0 of this board):
http://www.abit-usa.com/downloads/bios/ ... =1&model=6
Also, there is an NF7 and NF7-S2 board, so make sure which you have before flashing!

It is Abit (A1 in the BIOS String belongs to Abit). Be carefull, you must know your model in order to download and upgrade BIOS. You ought to use Everest (http://www.lavalys.hu/downloads/everesthome220.exe). It will show your mainboard model and much more. It won´t show you PCB revision, you must discover it by seeing the motherboard.
